The Taidekirppujen yö is an annual event in August at the end of the summer holiday period. It combines different activities like music, performances, activities on the beach, the LABYRINTH for a various audience.


Taidekirppujen yö 2008 was a mix of performances from different cultural origins and periods. From a middle age orientated music group like Ancient Bear Cult to the African orientated dance group Mami Wata

Also children have an own program, they go into the LABYRINTH to experience the secrets of the forest.

Theperformance of the  Ancient Bear Cult is based on music from the middle ages. The instruments used by the band The Ancient Bear Cult are based on authentic instruments The dance group Mami watta is based on African music.

The performance of the music band Ancient Bear Cult is inspired on old middle age sources.
Their instruments are based on authentic historic instruments.

The dance group Mami Watti is African oriented and brings an inspiring performance to the public.
