The Taidekirppujen yö is an annual event in August at the end of the summer holiday period. It combines different activities like music, performances, activities on the beach, the LABYRINTH for a various audience.

The event takes place on Saksalanharju-Kirkonkylä during the evening until midnight.

In 2010 the event will take place on Friday August 13 from 18-23.

This year also visual artists will get the possibility to present their work on a small art fair.

The informal ambiance invites visitors to meet artists and to see performances   The art fair is a new attraction, which will develop during the coming years.

The ambiance on Saksalanharju invites visitors in an informal exchange with each other and with different activities and performances.

Calligraphy is one of the workshops during the taidekirppujen yö.   With the start of the evening the yard is empty and artists have prepared their stand.

Art to see and art to do both are available during the taidekirppujen yö.

Aaronmeiden Teatterikone interviews an artists about her sorrows. A special act for children by Aaronmeiden Teatterikone. Different sorrows of the audience are transformed in songs.

Aaronmeiden Teatterikone performed a special act for children and has collected the sorrows of the audience in a Laululone performance.

The taidekirppujen yö is developing an art fair with artists from different regions.
In 2010 Finnish, Russian and Dutch artists showed their art production.
