MINUTES:

§1. welcome, opening of the meeting and the attendant persons
Matti Karttunen, Jukka Tikka, Lucien den Arend, Marja de Jong, Tapani Manner
The chairman Matti Karttunen opens the meeting at 16.00 in art centre Saksala ArtRadius, Haukivuori

§2. acceptance of the agenda
The board accepts the agenda

§3. acceptance of the minutes 2010 April 14 Mikkeli Museum
The board accepts the minutes of the meeting from April 14 in Mikkeli Museum

§4. review activities 2009
Haukivuori Muistoissamme III, a successful exhibition during summer about WORK, FREE TIME and BUILDINGS in Haukivuori
TAIDEKIRPPUJEN YÖ, a very good attended event in August with a varied program for all ages.
The cultural program is based on local participation.

§5. financial report2009
The official financial report will be finished in the next meeting.

§6. Veej'jakaja application
Veej’jakaja has refused both AREFS applications TRIANGLE ROCK and MY ROOTS FOR THE FUTURE.
The board will wait for the official decision by ELY-keskus and talk with Veej’jakaja before taking any action, like new application or sending an objection.

§7. TAIDEKIRPPUJEN YÖ 2010
The annual TAIDEKIRPPUJEN YÖ is on Friday August 13 from 18-23. There will be an international art fair.
There will be a program with dance, music and theatre, and special children’s activities.
We will look for the possibility to organize a KITE activity with prices.
Länsi-Savo will inform about the event.

§8. Haukivuori Muistoissamme IV 2010
Haukivuori Muistoissamme IV has the subject: HUUTULAISLASTEN KOHTALOITA SAKSALANHARJULTA with information about the orphan children which are taken in the municipal care.
Original sketches by Anna Sahlstén and information about “kaski” the way how the forest has been burnt to get fields.
The art historian Marja-Liisa Häyrinen is curator of this exhibition.

§9. contribution/members
The board accepts the proposal to combine 2010 and 2011 as one period for the contribution.
New cards for this period will be printed.

§10. other items
Tapani Manner: Saksala ArtRadius is an important place for this region.
Lucien den Arend: It would be interesting to get autographs from famous persons to recommend the place and activities
Marti Karttunen next meeting August 16 16.00 at Saksala ArtRadius

§11. closing the meeting
At 18.15 the chairman closes the meeting
